A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC SAFETY &
MOBILITY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Bill Fowler was appointed to the Traffic Safety & Mobility Commission
in January 2018 to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Fred Muir ending in July 2021; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Fowler was reappointed in August 2021.
WHEREAS, Commissioner Fowler is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Traffic Safety & Mobility Commission exists with a term
ending in December 2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Traffic Safety &
Mobility Commission, for a term ending in December 2028, or until a replacement is
appointed:
Tom Schuck
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 14th of January 2025, by the following vote, to wit:

BLACKBURN, BHAT-PATEL, ACOSTA, BURKHOLDER, SHIN .
