A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE VARIOUS REGIONAL COMMITTEE
ASSIGNMENTS FOR TERMS ENDING IN DECEMBER 2025, OR UNTIL
REPLACEMENTS ARE APPOINTED
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Municipal Code Section 2.04.100 and California Government Code Section
40605 require that the Mayor appoint, with City Council concurrence, City Council members to various
regional committee assignments as listed in Attachment A; and
WHEREAS, the regio.nal agencies request that the appointments be made no later than the first
regular City Council meeting in 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the mayoral appointments to the regional committee assignments as listed in
Attachment A are confirmed for terms ending in December 2025 or until replacements
are appointed.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, and the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California, on
the 14th day of January 2025, by the following vote, to wit:
