3. The approved landscape plan indicated
four proposed King Palm Street Trees to be
located within the street right of way. Since
the plan was approved, a couple of the trees
have been relocated due to utility or paving
conflicts. These new locations were
reviewed and approved. However, with
review of the installed landscape, it is noted
that only three of the four Street Trees were
installed. Please install the fourth tree. It
appears there may be available space either
on Garfield Street or on Chinquapin near the
intersection with Garfield. If tree locations are
not available, then we will need to review
with Parks and Recreation Department for
any alternative solutions.
4. Landscaping is not approved.
5. The Permit Card was not signed.
6. Prior to City Release the landscape
architect of work shall review/inspect the
project and provide a certification letter (City
form P25-E), and the following:
1) The City Release letter shall certify that
he or she has inspected the work and that
the project complies with the following
conditions:
a) Has been maintained in substantial
conformance to the approved plans.
b) Is growing in a healthy and thriving
condition.
c) All plantings required under Section 7 of
the Landscape Manual have been established
as an effective surface erosion control. (All
slopes must attain 75% permanent vegetative
cover prior to securities release.)
d) There is no evidence of excessive run
off from the irrigation system causing a soil
erosion problem.
e) As-built landscape plans for the bonded
work shall be submitted to and approved by
the City.
f) A diagram of the irrigation plan showing
hydrozones (Hydrozone Diagram) shall be
kept with the irrigation controller for
subsequent management purposes.
