The 2013 edition of the California Mechanical Code (CMC) adopts the 2012 Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) and the 2012 California Amendments. d. The following information should be provided: *Basic Wind speed (3-second gust), 110 mph *Wind exposure shall be determined by the engineer. 6. Please demonstrate compliance with the fire access and pathways setback requirements under section 3111.4 of the 2013 residential CBC. Show setback dimensions on plans. There should be a minimum of 36" clear from the roof ridge. Also, a minimum of 36" clear from at least one side of the edge down. There should be at least 18" from edge of the modules to any roof edge/ valley or hip. When there is modules on both sides of the valley then 18" clear should be provided on both sides of the valley to the edge of the nearest module. Do not install junction boxes or any obstacles in the above clear fire department passageways. 7. Provide a minimum of# ground electrode conductor for the DC system from inverter to the service.
