HOMES ATTN: Planning Department RE: Extension to Tentative Tract Map & Related Project Applications Resolution No: 7391 Case Name: La Costa Town Square Parcel 3 Residential Case No: CT 2017-0003 / PUD 2017-0004 / SOP 2018-0018 (DEV2017-0178) WOODSIDE 05S, LP is submitting this application in response to condition of approval No. 65 noted on page 20 of Planning Commission Resolution 7391. The written condition states, 'this tentative tract map shall expire two years from the date on which the City Council voted to approve this application'. The Carlsbad City Council voted to approve the above-mentioned applications on March 16, 2021 providing an expiration of March 16, 2023. WOODSIDE 05S, LP took ownership of the property in September 2021 and immediately started working on developing the final civil engineering and construction documents. We expected to record the final map before the TTM expired but did not anticipate the design challenges we found working our way through the final design stage. We have been able to manage those challenges by working closely with our design professionals and coordinating with city staff. The final map has been through one plan check with the city and the second plan check submittal will be made today January 12, 2023. We anticipate map recordation to occur within the next few months. WOODSIDE 05S, LP is hereby making a formal request to extend the expiration date for the applications mentioned above.
