01 . CBC 11 B-202.3 requi res that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. This accessibility shall include
the requirements of CBC 11 B-202.4, which entails: a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary
facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. Please address the following:
a) Show the accessible path of travel from the public way to the area of alteration.
b) On the site plan, specify the accessible route to be 5% maximum running slope with 2% maximum
cross slope per CBC 1 lB-403.3.
c) Revise the site plan to provide detectable warning where the accessible route crosses or adjoins the

a) Specify shower enclosures to be such that it shall not obstruct controls, faucets, and shower spray
units or obstruct the transfer from wheelchairs onto the shower seats per CBC 11 B-608.8.
a) Water controls of a single lever design shall comply with CBC 11 B-608.5. Water controls shall be
