Dear Sir:
This letter is to bring to your attention a question which we have regarding
the construction of our pool with respect to the plans submitted and approved
for the required building permit (Number 85-466), dated August 9, 1985.
The plans attached to the Inspection Record indicate the location of the pool
as being four (4) feet from the house and five (5) feet from the property
line. These dimensions were recently checked and found to be transposed in
the actual construction. The erection of the fence on the property line
aroused concern as to the correct location of the pool. This concern was
verified when the setback was measured as being three feet ten inches (3'10").
We are concerned as to what effect this change in the authorized construction
plans might have on the completion and final approval of the pool. We are
requesting guidance as to what steps or actions are necessary to assure that
the completion of this project meets all required codes and standards.
If you would please inform us by letter as to the status of this situation, we
would greatly appreciate it.
