Intended for commercial, industrial and institutional installations, it is ideal for life safety and property protection applications. The basic 7100 series control panel pro- vides two analog addressable signaling line circuits (SLCs). Each SLC supports up to 99 analog addressable sensors, as well as up to 99 addressable monitor modules and/or con- trol points. With 198 addresses available on each SLC, total system capacity reaches 396 add resses. The 7100 uses an advanced pro- tocol that ensures an almost instant response to events while at the same time suppressing nuisance alarms. The system may be programmed with ei- ther theWindaw-based Field Configuration Program (FCP-7 100) or through a compre- hensive set of intuitive, securely password protected front-panel programming options. This important feature allows the system to quickly adapt to any future requirements brought on by changes in occupancies, build- ing remodels, or other contingencies. The sophisticated circuitry and powerful analog software enables the 7100 series fire alarm control panel to read the specific sen- sitivity level of each sensor and compensate for any changes due to age, dust accumula- tion or other environmental factors. The 7100 incorporates the FCI Listed Integrated SensitivityTesting (LIST) which meets NFRt 72 sensitivity testing and maintenance re- quirementsThe LIST testing allows substan- tial savings in both maintenance and service while virtually eliminating nuisance alarms. The Model 7100-2D features an integral DigitalAlarm CommunicatorTransmitter (l 6CT) with all popular transmission formats and a 16-digit telephone number field. It is 8- digit Carrier Information Code (CIC) compli- ant and also prevents"dialer- runawi" in the event of intermittent system faultsThe 7100- 2D is UL Listed for Remote Station, Propri- etary, and Central Station fire alarm systems. The 7100 is housed in an attractive, con- temporary styled cabinet. It allows ample space for wiring and room for batteries up to 7A/H capacity. Point ID capability allows each sensor's address to be set, providing exact locations for pinpointing alarm locations and for selective maintenance. ATD thermal sensors use an innovative thermistor sensing circuit to produce 135°F/57°C fixed-temperature (ATD-L2F) and rate-of-rise thermal detection (ATD-RL2F) in a low-profile package. The ATD-HL2F provides fixed high-temperature detection at 190°F/88°C. These thermal sensors provide cost effective, addressable property protection in a variety of applications. The velocitiTM Series use a communication protocol that substantially increases the speed of communication between the sensors and certain FCI analog addressable fire alarm controls. INSTRUMENTS by Honeywell Description The FCI VelocitiTM Series, addressable monitor module AMM-2F is a single Style B, Class B initiating device circuit (lDC) with a 47KW end-of-line resistor. This module provides an address for any device or group of devices connected to this circuit on the signaling line circuit (SLC) of the FCI addressable series fire alarm control panel. Any initiating device with normally open (NO.) dry contacts may be made addressable when connected to the AMM-21F module. The VelocitiW Series use a communication protocol that substantially increases the speed of communication between the sensors and certain FCI analog addressable fire alarm controls. These devices operate in a grouped fashion. If one of the devices in the group has a status change, the panel's microprocessor stops the group poll and concentrates on the single device. The net effect is response speed up to five times greater than earlier de- signs. The AMM-2F module can be programmed to provide a wide variety of input functions to the FCI addressable series fire alarm control panels. It can be identified as a manual station, heat detector, plenum detector, waterflow switch, tamper switch, N.O. contact, smoke detector, projected beam smoke detector, sub loop, remote zone, etc. It can also serve as a remote system silence, system reset, system acknowledge or drill switch. It is even possible to customize its device type to meet specific job requirements. The initiating device circuit of the AMM-2F can support a maximum line resistance of up to 40 ohms allowing the use of linear heat detection devices. The compact size facilitates the installation of the module inside manual stations, or mounting boxes of various types of alarm initiating devices. B page 1 of 1 — FIRE CONTROL INSTRUMENTS A HoneweH Company DESCRIPTION The DH 100 Innovair Series four-wire duct detectors offer. innovations in installation, operation and maintenance. The unit is capable of controlling up to ten (10) air handling sys- tems when interconnected with up to nine other detectors. A unique, patented "cover missing" signal provides twenty minutes for testing and maintenance before creating a trouble signal if the cover is still missing. An integral filter system re- duces dust and residue effects on the detector and housing. Continuous Electronic Monitoring ensures that the sensor board is installed, powered and operating above its minimum sensitivity level. The D1-1100 series mounts directly on round or rectangular ducts from one to twelve feet wide and are rated for air veloc- ities from 500 to 4,000 FPM. The Innovair detectors are backward-compatible with all current sampling tubes and accessories, such as remote annunciators and test stations. Installation is simplified by means of captured cover screws, a slimmer profile housing, lighter weight design and exterior mounting tabs. Maintenance is likewise simplified with easily replaceable UL recognized power and sensor boards, reducing repair time and costs. CONSTRUCTION The housing is made of rugged Noryl plastic with a clear Lexan cover. Included with each unit is a patented telescoping sampling tube for use in ducts ranging from 12 to 18 inches wide. The tube length is set with a screw. Terminal connections will accommodate 12 to 18 AWG wire and provide a barrier that separates high and low voltage terminals to allow the DH100 to meet or exceed code re- quirements.
