The first update was to acknowledge the tremendous Senior Center staff for their quick action to help a community member having a medical emergency. Bus Drivers Derrick Crocket and Rosa Ramirez, along with Recreation Supervisor Andi Koller, tried multiple times to contact a scheduled transportation participant’s reservation but received no response. Concerned, for their well-being, Derrick acted on instinct and visited the participant’s home and heard them calling for help. Derrick’s quick response helped ensure the community member received the necessary medical attention. This reflects the caliber of dedication our Senior Center Staff have for our community.
