A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE INVESTMENT REVIEW
BOARD FOR A FOUR-YEAR TERM
WHEREAS, on May 13, 2025, the City Council established the Investment Review Board by
adopting Ordinance No. CS-490; and
WHEREAS, the board consists of five members, including the City Treasurer, and shall be
appointed by the City Treasurer with the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, board members will serve two- or four-year terms to ensure staggered termination
dates and maintain continuity of membership; and
WHEREAS, four vacancies exist on the newly established Investment Review Board with
staggered terms ending in August 2027 and August 2029.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve a four-year term on the
Investment Review Board for a term ending in August 2029:
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad on the 9th day of September, 2025, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Burkholder, Shin.
NAYS: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
