In accordance with your request, this report provides a summary of our observation of finish subgrade for the basement excavation for the proposed single-family residence. Grading consisted entirely of cut to finish grade. The materials exposed at finish grade consist of competent terrace deposits as anticipated. Subgrade for basement excavation is considered suitable for the intended purpose. Grading was performed in accordance with recommendations in the "Geotechnical Investigation ... " (Reference 1).
