CALL TO ORDER: 3:45 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Burkholder, Shin.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONCURRENT MEETINGS: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEM: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
City Attorney Cindie McMahon read the City Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 3:45 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CLOSED SESSION REGARDING SECURITY THREATS: That the City Council, by motion and as authorized
by Government Code Section 54957(a), hold a closed session to discuss matters posing a threat to the
security of public services or public facilities within the city of Carlsbad, including consulting with legal
counsel and the following staff responsible for security matters:
Sherry Freisinger, City Clerk
Sheila Cobian, Assistant City Manager
Christine Calderwood, Police Chief
Jennifer True, Senior Assistant City Attorney
Faviola Medina, Director of Constituent & Clerk Services
