A RESOLUTION OF THE ARTS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2026 REGULAR ARTS COMMISSION MEETING
CALENDAR

WHEREAS, the ARTS COMMISSION ofthe City of Carlsbad, California has determined that it will
establish its scheduled regular meetings annually be resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act, specifically California Government Code Section 54954(a),
provides for the establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
WHEREAS, all regular meetings will be scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Council
Chamber located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive; and
WHEREAS, special meetings of the Arts Commission will be called as necessary following the
requirements of the Brown Act, specifically California Government Code section 54956.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Arts Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The proposed action to approve the 2026 Regular Arts Commission Meeting calendar is
exempt from environmental review under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) and
15378(b)(5) as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the proposed
action may have a significant effect on the environment.
3. That the 2026 Regular Arts Commission Meeting Calendar establishing the dates and
locations for regular Arts Commission meetings (Attachment A) is approved.
4. That the 2026 Regular Arts Commission Meeting Calendar will be posted on the city's
website.
5. That all regular meetings will be scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Council
Chamber located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the Arts Commission of the City of
Carlsbad on the_§_.!h day of November 2025, by the following vote, to wit:
