The subcontractor has also added a FB¼" flat bar on top of the MCl0 channel that was face mounted to the new security building due to minimwn deck bearing not being achieved. -The certified welder welded the FB¼" flat bar on top of the MCl0 channel with a 3/16" fillet weld at 2" long, stitched, and staggered at every 12-inches. The subcontractor is now in progress of laying out for the 20 GA Roof Verco installation on top of the shade structure. -The subcontractor will be utilizing Zinc /tl2xl ½" sealer Self Drill Screw for the attachment with a schedule of 32/3. -The subcontractor will also utilize a Punchlock at the deck laps at every 24-inches. The certified welder is utilizing FCAW welding process with E71T-8 -.072 diameter wire on 228.4Amps. Periodic voltage/ amperage and inter-pass temperature checks were performed to ensure the proper performance of the welding equipment. All parameters are in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications. Inter-pass cleaning was observed through chipping and wire brushing. All work inspected complies with the approved construction drawings, and the welds have been visually inspected per AWS D 1.1 Visual Inspection Acceptance Criteria Table 8.1. Certified welder is utilizing FCAW welding process with E71T-8 -.072 diameter wire on 235.7 Amps. Performed periodic voltage/amperage and inter-pass temperature checks were performed to ensure the proper performance of the welding equipment. AU parameters are in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications. Inter-pass cleaning was observed through chipping and wire brushing. All work inspected complies with the approved construction drawings, and the welds have been visually inspected per AWS D 1.1 Vi sual Inspection Acceptance Criteria Table 8.1. Work is also being performed on the underside of the column base plate. Sub contractor W.E. Heusleun has completed the install of the High Performance Non-Shrink Grout (SpecGrout SCMulti-Purpose Grout) per details 16/S-1 Prior to grout placement, I inspected all prepared locations to ensure they were free of dirt, oil, and any foreign material. I verified all metal contact to be free of rust, oil, grease, and other foreign matter that could hinder bond formation. The concrete surface was dry, sound, and roughened to facilitate proper bonding. All anchor bolts were visually tight at all flying surfaces before grout placement. All formwork was securely secured and ridged to prevent displacement. The subcontractor utilized a mortar mixer in small batches until the batch was lump-free and achieved the desired consistency according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The subcontractor utilized (2) 50 lbs bags for the level I baseplates. Grout placement was continuous, avoiding any air entrapment. The non-shrink grout inspection was conducted in accordance with the manufacturer's specification and ASTM Cl 107. To the best of my knowledge, the work perfonncd was in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards of workmanship. This work is currently on going on the decking for the shade structure.
