Recommended Action
Adopt the 2026 Economic Development Subcommittee regular meeting calendar.
Executive Summary
This item contains changes to the previous calendar of regular meetings and proposes a
quarterly schedule that meets earlier in the day on Tuesdays.
Discussion
Staff is proposing that the subcommittee meet at 10 a.m., on the third Tuesday of the first month
of each quarter, in the Carlsbad City Council Chamber, beginning April 21, 2026. Special meetings
may be called as necessary. The 2026 calendar establishing the dates for the regular Economic
Development Subcommittee meetings is provided in Exhibit 1.
Fiscal Analysis
This action has no financial impact.
Next Steps
If approved, staff would work with the City Clerkâs Office to calendar all meetings for the year
and ensure proper noticing.
