Adventurer's Area (East Expansion Area 3)
Project Description
Plans dated July 6, 2007
Amend the LEGOLAND Site Development Plan as follows:
1. Add the proposed "Adventurer's" group of ride and attractions, to be located
in a vacant area of the East Expansion Area #3:
• Adventurer's Attraction: An interior "dark" ride housed in a single story
7,000 sf new building.
• Frog Hopper Ride: Exterior chair lift rides (two identical structures).
• Flying Tigers Ride: An exterior ride consisting of small airplanes
revolving around an oval.
• Foam Ball Attraction: A two level play structure enclosed by netting
featuring foam balls and various interactive play elements.
• Ladder Climb: A small net climbing structure.
• Ancillary features including LEGO models, seating areas, portable retail
carts, and landscaping.
2. Delete from the East Expansion Area #3 site plan the following rides and
structures that were previously approved, but not built:
• Aqua Drag Attraction: An exterior ride featuring a race down a wet
trough.
• Two retail/food buildings, totaling 1,600 sf.
• Note: These attractions were previously approved as part of the
Consistency Determination submittal dated December 9, 2005.
