In addition to accurately detecting a smoldering fire, each SD505-PHOTO photoelectric detector has a unique address, which is recognized by the lntelliKnight panel. No precious seconds are wasted in determining location of an alarm. The SD505-PHOTO compensates automatically for contamination in the environment. And detector testing is simple—even from a remote site. Like other lntelliKnight detector models, the SD505-PHOTO offers a low profile for pleasing aesthetics. The lntelliKriight family of detectors has been designed to use a common base, Model SD505-6AB, allowing complete application and placement flexibility. Combine all this with the features you've come to expect from Silent Knight smoke detectors—easy installation, stable operation, RF/transient protection, and vandal-resistant locking—and it adds up to a flexible solution for all your fire protection needs. The detector features automatic compensation for contamination and a simple detector calibration test procedure that can be run from the panel or remotely (using the WindowsTM based downloading software). Operation The 5D505-PHOTO units made up of an LED light source and a silicon photo diode receiving element. In a normal standby condition, the receiving element receives no light from the pulsing light source. In the event or fire, smoke enters the detector and light is reflected from the smoke particles to the receiving element. The light received is converted into an electronic signal. Under normal conditions, the status LED blinks Features Low profile, 2 inches, includh base Simple and reliable addressing without mechanical switches Automatic compensation for sensor contamination Built-in fire test feature Simple detector calibration testing through the control panel or remotely through a WindowsTM based computer software. Refer to listee's Installation Instruction Manual for details. NOTE: The photoelectric type detectors are generally more effective at detecting slow, smoldering fires, which smolder for hours before bursting into flames. Sources of these fires may include cigarettes burning in couches or bedding. The ionization type detectors are generally more effective at detecting fast, flaming fires, which consume combustible materials rapidly and spread quickly. Sources of these fires may include paper burning in a waste container or a grease fire in the kitchen. There are no issues with lockout codes. Simply add the Corn Series unit to the existing installation and program in your own account number. UPGRADING HONEYWELL VISTA PANELS Corn Series communicators can be programmed to easily take over Honeywell VISTA panels. The communicator connects to a VISTA Series ECP bus, which will allow you to program the Honeywell panel remotely using Compass. UPGRADE DSC POWERSERIES PANELS Connect to the PowerSeries panel through the Corn Series communicators to remotely manage all user codes and easily check zone status from the Virtual Keypad app. USER CODE MANAGEMENT With Virtual Keypad, your customers can eliminate time and money spent managing user codes - this is especially meaningful with multiple sites. At onetime, they can send a user code to multiple panels. Each of those panels can be different - whether they're XR, XT or Com Series. AVAILABLE BURGLARY COMMUNICATION The DualComWZ provides control of basic panel security functions and video. It adds the ability to remotely interact with Z-Wave devices, enabling automation features including control of lights, door locks, thermostats and more. FIRE COMMUNICATION The CellComF-LTE provides cellular fire communication and the DualComNF offers both network and cellular fire communication. Either one works on any fire control panel via Contact ID capture. Both meet NFPA 72 standard for single communication technology. FIRE PANEL TAKEOVER DuaICornNF and CeIlComF-LTE provide two tip and ring to easily take over existing fire panels with two phone lines. FIRE PACKAGE The PowerComF allows you to add new communication technologies to an existing fire panel. Included in the pre- assembled package are: One AT&T or Verizon DualcomNF One 505-12 Power Supply The communicator has all the power it needs without drawing from the panel. This alleviates the need to perform any battery calculations for the existing fire panel. MOBILE SYSTEM CONTROL With all Corn Series communicators, you can easily update your customers' older residential and commercial systems to the latest cellular communication. With cellular in place, users can remotely access their panels via the Virtual Keypad app. This makes it possible to use their mobile devices to control basic arm/disarm functions and receive alerts. "EX" STANDS FOR EXPRESS The CelIComEX Universal Communicator offers the same feature-rich benefits as CelICom modules but has one zone, one output and one tip and ring terminal, making it extremely quick to deploy with minimal programming or setup steps. Upgrading legacy panels is not only faster but also more affordable. Plus, its compact enclosure is ideal for tight installations. The zone on the CelIComEX provides connection to burglary control panel outputs. It can also be used for the connection to the control panel bell output. FOUR ZONES All other Corn Series models provide four zones for connection to burglary control panel outputs. Zone 4 is intended for connection to the control panel bell output. - Virtual Keypad App Version Features Arm and Disarm S Notifications (Alarms, Open/Close, Trouble) S View History View Zone Status Manage User Codes Activity Reports Configure Real-Time Notifications SMS or Email Geofencing Video Doorbell SecureCom NVR SecureCom Video Video Integration Central Station Video Verification COM SERIES DUAL-PATH COMMUNICATION MODULE PROGRAMMING FIRSTNET READY® COMMUNICATOR The Corn Series' DualCom modules Programming over network or cell For alarm companies who choose to provide dual-path monitoring center via Dealer Admin" or Remote Link give customers the advantages of Band communication for any burglary, includes zone information and 14 for all of their commercial fire and commercial fire or residential fire panel.
