A RESOLUTION OF PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A VICE CHAIR TO PRESIDE AT
ALL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS IN THE CHAIR’S ABSENCE
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Municipal Code Section 2.15.080 requires the Commission to appoint one
of its members as Vice Chair to preside at Commission meetings in the Chair’s absence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Commissioner is appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Commission
for a term ending December 2026:

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Special Meeting of the Planning Commission the City of
Carlsbad on the 18th day of Feb., 2026, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Fitzgerald, Burrows, Lafferty, Merz, Foster, Hubinger, Meenes.
NAYS: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
