A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY-POLICE ENGAGEMENT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2026
COMMUNITY-POLICE ENGAGEMENT COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING
CALENDAR
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that all Board, Commissions and Committees will
establish its scheduled regular meetings annually by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act, specifically California Government Code Section 54954,
provides for the establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Municipal Code Section 2.15.020(G) requires the Commission to meet in
accordance with its approved regular meeting schedule; and
WHEREAS, all regular meetings will be scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber
located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive; and
WHEREAS, special meetings of the Community-Police Engagement Commission will be called as
necessary following the requirements of the Brown Act, specifically California Government Code
Section 54956.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Community-Police Engagement Commission of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the regular meeting schedule in Attachment A is adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Special Meeting of the Community-Police Engagement
Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 26th day of March, 2026, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Connolly, Gish, Novak, Frazee, Zepeda Jr.
NAYS: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
