The static and residual pressure data were taken from a fire hydrant immediately behind Anderson's Restaurant and Hotel on Paseo Del Norte while the flow data were observed from a fire hydrant 567' west in front of the new development. Static Pressure Residual Pressure Flow-Observed 84 p.s.i 72 p.s.i 30 p.s.i@ 4" outlet, calculated to 2354 g.p.m. The test was witnessed by yourself and representatives of the City of Carlsbad Water Department. The time of said test was 12:30 p.m. and all valves were checked by the Water Department representatives for position and integrity . Pursuant to our discussion, a 10% reduction will be taken from the aforementioned figures and a 1,500 g.p.m. fire flow will be calculated into the site requirements.
