1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING EXISTING LITIGATION
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding existing litigation in
the matter of:
Peterson, Shirley v. City of Carlsbad Case No. 37-2019-00040774-CU-PO-NC pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(l).
Council Action: None.
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INITIATING LITIGATION
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session to consider initiation of
litigation (one case), pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4).
Council Action: The City Council authorized initiation of litigation and the complaint will
be made public upon service.
