1.CONFERENCE REGARDING EVALUATION OF APPOINTED PUBLIC EMPLOYEES
To discuss and consider a joint performance evaluation and individual evaluations of
the City Manager and the City Attorney pursuant to Government Code sections 54957.
Council Action:No Reportable Action.
2.CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING EXISTING LITIGATION
To discuss existing litigation pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(a)(d)(1).
North County Advocates v. City of Carlsbad.Case No. 37-2015-00035458-CU-
WM -NC.
Council Action:City Attorney Celia Brewer reported that the City of Carlsbad and North
County Advocates had reached a tentative resolution of the General Plan lawsuit.However
that item is linked to and dependent upon the City Council's action on Item 5 on the Regular
Agenda.The City Council has full authority to exercise its' discretion on the item.
