The parking lot property is located on the east side of Jefferson Street between Carlsbad Village Drive and Grand Avenue. The proposed improvements will upgrade customer service by 1) providing an additional ten parking spaces; 2) providing for more efficient vehicular flow; and 3) improving security and direct point service at the site. Those persons wishing to speak on the proposed project and intended action by the Housing and Redevelopment Director are cordially invited to contact the Housing and Redevelopment Department by 5:00pm on Friday, June 28, 1996. If you have conmients on the proposed project and intended action, please contact Debbie Fountain in the Housing and Redevelopment Department at 434-2935. You may also provide your comments in writing to the Housing and Redevelopment Dkector at 2965 Roosevelt Street, Suite B, Carlsbad, Califomia, 92008. NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Planning Department has determmed that the environmental effects of the project described above are exempt under the Califomia Environmental Quality Act. A Notice of Exemption will be filed for the project if approved by the Housing and Redevelopment Director.
