Re: Case File AV 92-02, Parking Recreational Vehicle in front yard.
Gentlemen:
This is to register our opposition to the above application.
The parking of a huge vehicle is not an inherent characteristic
of the property where the owner should be granted some relief in order to use the property for intended use under the master plan and zoning code.
The granting of this variance will only generate other requests for such variances and eventually transform the neighborhood into a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park and reduce property values. It will be an eye sore in a very pleasant residential neighborhood.
The fact that the applicant has a problem parking an RV should not transfer that problem to the neighborhood property owners in general. The applicant should have addressed that problem, his problem, before buying the vehicle or the property.
If required, I will attend the hearing meeting.
