This particular address in the past few years has continuously had as many as three cars and/or pickup trucks in the driveway plus two parked on the front lawn, and between two and three on the street in front of the above address as well as in front of a neighbor's home. It has been an eyesore to the entire community. If a variance is permitted, the thirty or more residents in the Seaport area who own RVs or boats would also request variances to park in front of their homes. It is my understanding the law states no RV trailer or boat can be parked on an owner's property unless the nose of the vehicle is no further out than the front of the building on the property, and must be fenced so that it is not visible from the street. If that is true, some others in Seaport are breaking the law. I have not seen a police patrol car in the area for two years, and that might be the reason. As of this date, September 4, there is one trailer and two autos in the front driveway and two cars on the street. L. H. Fairchild 7102 Mimosa Drive Carlsbad, CA 92009
