Dear Mr. Ponder:
Pursuant to our conversation, I am enclosing a copy of the signed permit with
the signed acknowledgment from the permittee.
As a follow-up to the discussion regarding the square footage of the proposed
house to be built on said property, it is our intent to build a 3316 square foot
house and not 191 9 square feet. When we originally filled out the permit
application, we answered Question No. 6 with the understanding that this
pertained to lot coverage (including garage) on said property, not total size of
the house to be built. The plans submitted concurrently with the application
showed that the proposed square footage of the house to be built is in fact 3316
square feet. All other information in the application is correct.
We would appreciate it if you would make a note of this discrepancy in your file
so that there will be no problems with the City of Carlsbad when we apply for
building permits.
