Dear Sir,
We are building a carport at my residence, 3057 Highland Avenue,
Carlsbad and need a variance for a reduction in the sideyard width from
7 1/2 feet to 5 feet. It is my understanding that the planning director has
the power to grant this variance pursuant to Planning Code Section 21.10.
040 (2), as long as there is a sufficient side yard width provided on the
opposite side yard,
as a formal request for the side yard variance,
