SUBJECT: CDP 97-22 - CAMPBELL RESIDENCE
Thank you for applying for Land Use Permits in the City of Carlsbad on May 22, 1997.
The Planning Department has reviewed your Coastal Development Permit, application
no. CDP 97-22, as to its completeness for processing.
The application is complete, as submitted. Although the initial processing of your
application may have already begun, the technical acceptance date is acknowledged by
the date of this communication. The City may, in the course of processing the
application, request that you clarify, amplify, correct, or otherwise, supplement the basic
information required for the application. In addition, you should also be aware that
various design issues may exist. These issues must be addressed before this
application can be scheduled for a hearing. The Planning Department will begin
processing your application as of the date of this communication.

ISSUES OF CONCERN
Planning:
1. Site Plan, sheet 1 of 11 sheets indicates building coverage is 1234 and 25% of
lot. If first floor plan is 1234 square feet living space and 480 square feet garage
then those numbers should be corrected to 1714 square feet of building
coverage and 35%.
2. Building height exceeds maximum allowed by the Specific Plan. Please correct
plans to indicate conformance to height limit.
