HomeMy WebLinkAboutCDP 98-04; La Costa Glen; Coastal Development Permit (CDP) (8)oft CLrlsbad PUBLIC NOTICE OF PRIOR ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE Please Take Notice: The Planning Department has determined that the environmental effects of the project described below have already been considered in conjunction with previously certified environmental documents and, therefore, no additional environmental review will be required and a*notice of determination will be filed. Project Title: La Costa Glen Project Location: West side of El Camino Real between La Costa Avenue and Olivenhain Road, City of Carlsbad Project Description: A Senior Retirement Community located on a 55.8 acre site within the approved Green Valley Master. The Project includes 69 skilled nursing beds, 70 assisted living beds, 229 independent living units, 32 personal care suites, 2 guest rooms, 96 attached single-family homes, 75 detached single- family homes, a 6,111 sq. ft. recreation building, a 5,974 sq. ft. maintenance building, a recreational vehicle storage area, 80,000 cubic yards of fine grading to finish the building pads and streets, and the necessary private roadways and utilities to service the development. The site is being rough graded as part of the approved master plan and recorded master final map for the 281 acre property. Justification for this determination is on file in the Planning Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, California 92009. Comments from the public are invited. Please submit comments in writing to the Planning Department within ten (10) days of date of publication.
