NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMPLETE DATE: October 6,1999
DESCRIPTION:
Request for approval of a Coastal Development Permit Amendment to allow for grading
to occur up to November 15, 1999 within Planning Area C of the Poinsettia Shores
Master Plan.
LOCATION:
This project is within the City of Carlsbad’s Coastal Zone located south of Avenida
Encinas between Windrose Circle and I-5 in the P-C zone and Local Facilities
Management Zone 9.

A public hearing on the above proposed project will be held by the Planning Commission in the
Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, on October 20, 1999 at
6:00 p.m.
Persons are cordially invited to attend the public hearing and provide the decision makers with
any oral or written comments they may have regarding the project. The project will be described
and a staff recommendation given, followed by public testimony, questions and a decision.
Copies of the staff report will be available on or after October 14, 1999.

APPEALS
If you challenge the Coastal Development Permit Amendment in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice,
or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad prior to the public hearing.

Planning Commission.
