DESCRIPTION: Removal and replacement of a 1,700 square foot cabana within the Sea
Cliff development.
LOCATION: This project is within the City of C&bad’s Coastal Zone at: 855 Sumac
Lane.
ASSESSORS PARCEL NUMBER: 214-472-74
APPLICANT: Curtis Management Company
No formal public hearing is required for this application because (1) the proposed development
costs $60,000 or less; (2) no other discretionary approvals are required; and (3) there will be no
adverse impacts on coastal resources or public access to the shoreline or coast.
Be advised that a public bearing will onlv be held for this proposal upon the receipt bv the
Citv of a written reauest for a public hearing within fifteen (15) working davs of the date of
this notice, or bv Julv 27, 1998. Failure to request a hearing or provide written comments
within the fifteen (15) working day timeframe may result in loss of the ability to appeal to the
Coastal Commission any action taken by the City on this Minor Coastal Development Permit
Application.
The Planning Director will determine this application fifteen (15) working davs after the
date of this notice if no public hearing is requested.
