FINDINGS Pursuant to Title 14, Section 13166(b) of the California Code of Regulations this amendment is considered to be IMMATERIAL and the permit will be notified accordingly if no written objections are received within ten working days of the date of this notice. If an objection is received, the amendment must be reported to the Commission at the next regularly scheduled meeting. This amendment has been considered IMMATERIAL for the following reason(s): Because the site is adjacent to sensitive habitat used by several senstive bird species, construction activities were restricted to occur outside the nesting season of the birds. Due to delays in construction and the need to complete work on the pump station to avoid potential sewege spills, DFG has approved the applicant's request to allow construction to occur up to May 30,2000 provided certain mitigation measures are implemented. With implementation of the mitigation measures required by DFG, no adverse impacts on coastal resources are anticipated. If you have any questions about the proposal or wish to register an objection, please contact Laurinda Owens at the San Diego Coast Area office. CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION
