PROJECT DESCRIPTION/EXPLANATION
PROJECT NAME: KinderCare Learning Center - Sambi Seaside Heights
APPLICANT NAME' KinderCare Learning Centers, Inc.

necessary to adequately explain the scope and/or operation of the proposed project.

Description/Explanation:
KinderCare Learning Centers Inc. proposes to build a 9,897 square
foot single story child care facility with approximately 33,000
square feet of fenced playground area and 40 parking spaces on
the 1.79 acre parcel at the northeast corner of the intersection
of Hidden Valley Road and Plum Tree Lane. The hours of operation
will be 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
This site is currently zoned for child care and we are complying
with all of the planning and zoning regulations of the City of
Carlsbad (building height, setbacks, parking, etc.) and are
requesting no variances for special conditions.
KinderCare is the largest child care provider in the world with
over 1,150 centers. This particular site will provide a unique
opportunity to establish much needed quality child care within
new residential developments.
