Melrose Drive in Villages A and B be notified in writing that the units are noise-impacted
properties.
With the requirement for notification and the inclusion of the six*-foot wall as indicated
on Figures 2 and 3, noise impacts will be adequately mitigated.
For the units immediately adjacent to and facing area roadways, it would be necessary to
allow the windows to remain closed to ensure thai interior noise levels meet the City's
standard of 45 dB(A) CNEL inside the units. The building code requires that for areas in
excess of 60 dB(A) CNEL where it is necessary to keep windows closed, forced-air
circulation or air conditioning be provided.
