Re: Roesch Property Debris Removal
Dear Mr. Davidson:
As requested by you, a visit was made to the Roesch property on October 22, 2001. The
approximately 27-acre Roesch property is located west of El Camino Real, east of Aviara
Parkway, and south of Poinsettia Lane. The purpose of the visit was to view the abandonned
cars and other large debris that have been deposited in the canyon in the western portion of the
property. These items have been an issue of concern of neighboring residents as a visual
problem. Based on discussion onsite with the Standard Pacific Housing staff, the abandonned
cars and other debris items of concern will be remove from view from the nearby residents.
The tune of year is ideal for dealing with these objects since the breeding season of the
California gnatcatcher (Polioptila californica), as well as all other migratory birds, is well
past. No grading would be involved in this activity. Any material that is moved within the
native shrubbery will not cause the loss of the shrubs as they will rapidly spring back and will
recover with the onset of winter rains.
