RE: WATER AVAILABILITY APN: 215-360-16,17,18
Upon review of the above referenced project the following information is provided:
The project is within the boundaries of the Vallecitos Water District. Water service will only be
provided under the rules and regulations of the District, under normal operating conditions and after
all required fees have been paid and all conditions of the District have been satisfied.
The property is within a pressure zone which maintains a hydraulic gradeline of 815 feet above sea
level. The highest elevation on the proposed development appears to be approximately 525 feet
above sea level. This would allow for static pressures of approximately 125 psi.
The District maintains an 8-inch ACP water main adjacent to the property in Unicornio St. The
District requires that each newly created lot have separate water connections to the main. It appears
from the layout of the property that an extension of a minimum 8-inch water main in both of the
proposed private streets will be required. In addition a looped feed between the two private streets
may be required to provide adequate fireflow to the project.
The Fire Department should be contacted to verify fire flow requirements and fire control facilities
needed to serve the project. A hydraulic analysis may be required. If a hydraulic analysis is required,
fire flow requirements must be submitted in writing from the appropriate Fire Department.
Current District policy requires an onsite analysis of water demands to determine meter sizing and
costs associated with these meters to serve the project for irrigation purposes. If a separate meter
is required for the common area, all information must be submitted on District forms for analysis.
Please contact the District to obtain the necessary forms.

Water Availability

Any water facilities not with the public right-of-way will require a minimum 20-foot easement granted
to the District. The owner of the project is responsible for obtaining any easements and expenses
incurred.
This letter is issued for planning purposes only, and is not a representation, expressed or implied, that
the District will provide service at a future date. The Vallecitos Water District relies one hundred
percent on imported water supplies, and although the District may have available capacity at this time,
due to the inadequacy of water supplies, water may not be available at the time the project is built.
Commitments to provide service are made by the District's Board of Directors and are subject to
compliance with District fees, charges, rules and regulations.
If there are any questions please feel free to give me a call.
Sincerely,
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
