Re: Project in Carlsbad
CT99-14/PUD 99-06/SDP 99-11 - The Regency
Dear Sir,
I am in receipt of your plans for the Unicomio Development. Let this letter stand as record as to
the requirements necessary for Waste Management and Coast Waste Management to service the
trash needs of your project.
Building complexes that consist of four or more units are considered muM-family by City code
and thus require bin service. Clearly, Unicomio would not be considered mufti-family based
upon the aforementioned criteria and thus can be serviced utilizing our curbside service program.
This program provides for trash and recyclable containers to be removed from their proper waste
cans and recycle crates that are placed at the customers' curb. This would require our vehicles to
be able to negotiate "private street A" and "private street B". It would be preferable that our
trucks would not have to back out of the private streets; however, it appears that there will not be
sufficient room for our trucks to turn around.
I hope that this information satisfactorily resolves your questions and concerns. Should you need
further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at 760 754-4113.
Sincerely,
s-—\
