NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to you, because your interest may be affected, that the
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the Council
Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, April 5, 2000, to consider a request for approval of a Mitigated Negative
Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Map,
Nonresidential Planned Unit Development, and Special Use Permit for five one-story
and four two-story office buildings totaling 102,000 square feet on an 8.24 acre parcel
located on the west side of El Camino Real between Faraday Avenue and Palomar
Airport Road within Local Facilities Management Zone 5 and more particularly
described as:
Lot 12 of Carlsbad Tract No. 81-10 in the City of Car&bad,
County of San Diego, State of California, according to map
No. 10330, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, February, 18,1982
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after March 30, 2000.

The time within which you may judicially challenge this Tentative Map, Nonresidential
Planned Unit Development, and Special Use Permit, if approved, is established by state
law and/or city ordinance, and is very short. If you challenge the Tentative Map,
Nonresidential Planned Unit Development, and Special Use Permit in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at
or prior to the public hearing.
