PROJECT DESCRIPTION/EXPLANATION
PROJECT NAME: CANYON CREEK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
APPLICANT NAME: BETTY JEAN HALL, D.V.M.
Canyon Creek Animal Hospital will be a full-service,
small animal, veterinary care facility owned and operated by
Betty J. Hall D.V.M.
Dr. Hall graduated from U.C. Davis Veterinary School in
June 1990 and has been working in the San Diego North Coastal
area for the past 9 years. Currently, she is operating her own
house call business, Animal Clinic of Encinitas, as well as
working several days a week as a relief veterinarian at local
veterinary hospitals.
Canyon Creek Animal Hospital will provide care
primarily to cats and dogs, but rabbits and pocket pets will also
be treated. The facility will be capable of providing surgical
services, hospitalization, bathing, medical boarding, in addition
to regular exams and patient care. General boarding and
grooming services will not be provided. An associate
veterinarian will be providing acupuncture services as well.
In the near future, specialty diagnostics such as endoscopy
and ultrasound will also be available. There will be monthly
rounds sessions with a board-certified radiologist as well as a
board-certified internist.

Products sold will be primarily related to animal medical
care, such as prescription diets, specialty shampoos, medications
and nutritional supplements.
Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 8:oo
a.m. until 6:oo p.m., and Saturday :oo a.m. until z:oo p.m. We
will be closed on Sundays. After-hours care will be referred to
one of several local veterinary emergency clinics. On rare
occasions, Dr. Hall may come in late in the evening to check on
patients that are in the hospital.
