The conditional use under consideration is to maintain a trailer as a
temporary office for a trucking firm. owned and operated by South Coast Asphalt Company, located on the south side of Haymar Drive, west of College Boulevard. is located at the northeast corner of the property, on a triangular portion formed by Haymar Drive and a private road used by South Coast Asphalt.
A trailer is presently on the site, functioning as an office, under an unauthorized status. firm has been graded and is partially paved. equipment and material storage and truck parking. visible from Highway 78, but not from any residences in the area.
If approved, the Conditional Use Permit would enable the trailer to legally operate as an office for one year, with the possibility of extensions by the City Planning Conmission, if a permanent replacement structure has begun.
