Attn: Colleen Balch
Dear Ms Balch,
Pursuant to your discussions with Bill Bible concerning the Pacific Bell building expansion at 2 175
Camino Vida Robles, Carlsbad, this letter is being submitted to confirm the following:
1. The existing building area mislabeled as “storage” on the drawings actually consists of
operating Telco switching facilities housed in 5 adjacent, coupled trailers, surrounded by a masonry wall.
2. This Telco equipment and trailers will be replaced by the new Telco equipment to be installed
in the new building addition (plan check # 92-1224) scheduled to begin during Apnl, 1997.
3. pacific Bell hereby commits to the removal of these trailer units by May, 1999, however the
masonry wall is anticipated to remain as there are existing under ground cable entrance facilities which
will be exposed when the trailers are removed Removable concrete deck sections are to be placed over
these facilities which will be approximately 24 inches above grade.
We appreciate your Cooperation with our consultant Bill Bible, and we are willing to arrange a site visit
for your inspection if you would like to review the premises.
If we can be of assistance please call Roger Trinko at 619-237-2353.
