Description/Explanation: This application for a Conditional Use Permit at 6350 Yarrow Drive Suite C, is to allow applicant (Abstract Ale Works) onsite, sales and consumption of alcoholic beverages (Specifically Beer). Due to the zoning map, the applicant is permitted by right in the city of Carlsbad to manufacture and store alcoholic beverages. This proposed CUP will allow onsite sales of products solely manufactured onsite. Hours of operation will be dictated by the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and will be kept within reasonable means. However, our proposed hours will be Monday - Thursday 3-9pm, Friday 3-'10pm, and Saturday-Sunday 11-10pm. This tasting room will be no larger than 2,000 sq. ft. and comply with all state and city building codes for its intended use. The other 3 suites at 6350 Yarrow Drive are typical warehouse uses that close by 5pm on weekdays and are not operating on weekends. There will be no vehicles parked onsite overnight.
