County staff is submitting a project to reconstruct runway shoulders
at Palomar Airport.
Projects submitted for contract require a general plan conformance
review or statement from the appropriate agency that review is not
required. !
The contracts office has requested your concurrence with the following
stateme;: which will be included in the letter to the Board of
Supervisl=lrs recommending this contract :
Plans are attached.
"In The opinion of the Planning Director/Commission of the
City of Carlsbad, the proposed improvements are of a minor
maintenance nature which will improve airport maintenance
and will not result in increased airport activities and
therefore is not subject to general plan conformance review.''
