The California State Referral Svstem for Childcare was contacted and
r.arlsbad was named as a citv in need of quality preschools and dav care.
This is also evidenced by the extensive waiting list at Carlsbad Montessori
School. The proposed use will be in harmony with the existinq uses
as' there are current commercial operations as well as a number of
Private and Public Schools in the area.
b) Explain why the site for the intended use is adequate in
size and shape to accomodate the use:

c) Explain why you believe the proposed yards, setbacks, walls
fences, landscapinq, etc., will be adequate to adjust the
requested use to existinq or permitted future uses in the

There will be no major changes of yards, fences, etc., just an
upgrading of those existing.
d) Explain why you believe the street system servinq the
proposed use is adequate to properly handle all traffic gener-
ated by the proposed use: •
