Does project comply with conditions of resolutions and approved plans?
D Yes ' IE! No
If no, list below the condition(s) and/or plan aspects the project is not in compliance
with per resolution number or exhibit.
The project is not compliant with the Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWIS #37-AH-0001),
number 14, issued by the County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health,
which states that hazardous and medical waste is prohibited from being on site.
Currently, Waste Management (sub-leases from Palomar Transfer Station, Inc.) has an
electronic and medical waste drop-off area at the Transfer Station. In addition, the CUP
(Resolution numbers 5799 & 5800) does not specify this use on site.
Corrective action(s) to be taken:
The Solid Waste Facility Permit (SWIS #37-AH-0001) needs to be amended to allow the
hazardous and medical waste on site. In addition, the CUP needs to be amended to
allow this use. The CUP must go to PC for a recommendation to the CC for approval of
the use. If this is not completed then Waste Management must stop accepting
hazardous waste on site and remove the existing hazardous waste. f
