Gentlemen:
I am the managing partner of partnerships which own two
properties adjacent to the Carlsbad Raceway Corporation, namely, Thibodo Rancho Partnership (approximately 500 acres) and Carrillo Rancho Partnership (approximately 853 acres).
The owners of these two properties are against the extension of the Conditional Use Permit and request that the Commission deny the extension. The reasons are as follows:
1. Noise polution.
2. Incompatibility with surrounding land owners' uses.
