You present?y have a 90 day cielay on the subject of the Conditional UFe
Permit for the Carlsbad Raceway. Gentlemen, I vrould only hope thpt you
think very carefully about this matter. It vas broucht up at the public

that area. I have been out there many times, and I can think of 11s better
use of that lend than -or recreational use. I believe that the
statements of the neipnborinp land owners should be closely scrutinized
as I understand that both properties are novr ovned by another Company.
If this is true, tnen I feel the remarks of the old land ovmers vere
not made in good faith. Al=o, in (rrantine this permit, let's remember,
that the Kacevrag Co. will be able to do a more complete job if the time
of the permit is long enough to amortise the investments required.. The
information on this vi11 be available prior to your next hezrinp on this
matter, and if it takes a little more nomework, it vi11 he vorth it.
