Dear Rick,
In regards to the Specific Plan currently being processed
by your city for the development of the 422 acre area north of Carlsbad Raceway, there are some issues of apparent
mutual concern. Specifically, the allignment of Melrose
Avenue, the location and impact of the sewerage facility and the interface of open space areas and trails systems between Vista and Carlsbad.
In order to coordinate development issues of mutual concern,
I would like to suggest a meeting between planning depart- ment and engineering representatives from.our respective communities, to be arranged at your convenience.
