The contents of the aubject proDerty is extremely
conbustible +ith the potential of explosion from
the accunulated gasolene fumes.Uqholstery Dadling
and fabrics, when burning, frequently travel great
distances through the air.
The. Santa Fe ri%ht-of-way which senerates this
propezty frorn Lakeshore Gardens uGuaLly contains a large quantity of combustable tuxbleweeds creating an ad-ied possibility of spreading fire from this area.
Prevailing winds are from a Westerly direction that
could carry burning materials into the Efobilhona Park and create a rnajoxj6onfligration. Should such a condition develop, it would require approxim t tely 5 miles of travel to move the fire fighting equip- ment from the Ponto area to the Mobilehome Park, approximately 200 yards distance as the fire flies. The close proximity of the auto wrecking yard to a cornIiercial storge unit creates an additional hazard. Tho amount of hose required to reach to this area from the nearest fire hydrant would render effectual fire fighting practically nil. Inasmuch as the instllation of a fire hydrant was a .
condition of the granting a Conditional Use Permit,
and agreed to by Mr. Chapow, it is only fair and equitable to re8identt3 and businesses in ths area
that Mr. ChappeB bo required to install this faciltty
in accordance with the specificationn and requirement8 of the Fired Department.
