NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
California, at 6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 1997, to consider a request for an
extension of conditional use permits allowing the continued operation of a church,
preschool facility, office and meeting rooms on two adjacent lots on property generally
located at 2020 and 2030 Chestnut Avenue in the R-I zone in Local Facilities
Management Zone 1 and more particularly described as:
Map 1681 Thum Lands, Portion of Tracts 254 and 255
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after June 26, 1997.
If you have any questions, please call Anne Hysong in the Planning Department at
(760) 438-1 161, extension 4477.
If you challenge the Conditional Use Permit Amendment Extensions in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at
or prior to the public hearing.
